Registration is now open for the WAAL 2014 Annual Conference: Charting a Course for Adventure!  The conference will take place at the Chula Vista Resort in Wisconsin Dells, Wisconsin, April 30-May 2

In addition to excellent presentations by your colleagues throughout the state, we will be featuring several dynamic guest speakers, including:

Barbara Fister, regular contributor to Library Journal and Inside Higher Ed, and instruction coordinator at Gustavus Adolphus College library in St. Peter, Minnesota, will deliver the Wednesday keynote on "Information Literacy as the Practice of Freedom."

Trent Miller, program coordinator & gallery director at Madison Public Library, will speak at the Wednesday luncheon on the innovative events he has brought to the public library.

Micheal Edmonds, author of "Out of the Northwoods: The Many Lives of Paul Bunyan", will share his discoveries about Paul Bunyan's origins among Wisconsin loggers in the 1880s.

We will also have several social events, including a Wild West-themed cocktail party on Wednesday night, and Wizard Quest on Thursday night.
