Thanks for attending the 2012 WAPL Conference!

Now that the conference is over, please help yourself to the Post-Conference Resources, provided by a selection of speakers. Thanks to our generous speakers for providing the materials and expertise. And, of course, thanks to the Conference Committee for their work to produce another excellent conference.

Want to see how attendees evaluated the conference? An evaluation summary is available here.

Join your friends and colleagues at the Stevens Point Holiday Inn Hotel and Convention Center for the Wisconsin Association of Public Libraries 2012 Annual Conference, May 9th-11th.

This year’s Conference Committee has brought together a variety of programs on Readers Advisory, Collection Development, Children’s Programming, Workflow Management, Public Speaking, Staff Productivity, Digitization, and Community Collaboration.

With the expectation that 2012 will be fiscally challenging for Wisconsin public libraries, this year’s conference should sit nicely within your budget; with the full conference priced below $100 and rooms available at $99 per night.

In addition to the conference, I would also like to invite you to attend the WAPL Chair’s Reception, held Wednesday evening, May 9th at 7pm in the Hotel Lounge for an opportunity to catch up with friends and meet new colleagues.

On behalf of the 2012 WAPL Conference Committee, I am looking forward to seeing you there!

Jen Gerber, Chair
Wisconsin Association of Public Libraries (WAPL)
