Your library is the heart of the community. Hosting events and promotions allows you to showcase all the library has to offer, provide educational and cultural experiences and connect people.
Where better than the library to gather to discuss topics that touch our lives?
Reel to Real is a partnership of Wisconsin Public Television (WPT) and the Wisconsin Library Association to bring people together to view thought-provoking films from WPT that get people talking about topics that resonate in communities throughout Wisconsin!
The rich film library covers topics like race and diversity, social justice, history, the arts, education and civic engagement.
Past participants have included public and academic libraries. To learn how your library can bring a R2R screening and discussion to your community, contact Lynne Blinkenberg, director of Community Outreach, WPT, firstname.lastname@example.org, 608-265-6331, and see a screening schedule at EngageWisconsin.
