Please see: for a list of opportunities AND to register yourself and someone else to participate.

Sponsor, Exhibitor and Advertising Opportunities Now Available!

The 2016 Wisconsin Library Association (WLA) Conference will be held October 25-28 at the Potawatomi Hotel & Casino in Milwaukee; exhibit dates are October 26-27. Our theme for 2016 is a special one, as it is a milestone year for WLA: Better Together @ 125! We invite you to join us in celebrating our 125th Anniversary.

Our focus is on helping libraries connect to their communities, creating innovative spaces, and using and re-using resources in new and exciting ways. We offer a multitude of great programs, excellent speakers, awards, tours and fun social events, all in an environment meant to engage everyone attending. Below are several great opportunities to place your organization front and center of the Wisconsin library community:

As an Exhibitor, choose your preferred location in the exhibit hall and be one of the first to select a Gold Booth along either side of the Engage Stage, which will also be used for quick, informal programs. Check out the floor plan, choose your preferred booth choices (up to 5), then complete and submit the exhibitor contract to the WLA office at

Want to present a demo of your latest and greatest products or provide a refresher course of a tried and true piece of equipment or stage an interactive demo using live puppets? Here’s the form…

To further help our attendees quickly identify your company by your product category, complete the following…

And, of course, you need a place to recharge after fielding a potential 800+ people asking questions, demanding answers, having you do handstands, and whatever else might come along, so here’s where to go…

During the two days, we’ve set aside three hours of dedicated no-conflict times, along with hospitality breaks and lunches, to woo all those visiting the Exhibit Hall. Also, don’t hesitate to distribute event swag onsite…we’ll make sure to list your name on our website as a swag contributor!

As a Sponsor, your logo and/or company name will appear in various marketing materials based on your level of sponsorship, including an advertisement in the conference booklet. Reinforce your commitment to libraries and increase your visibility outside the exhibit hall by sponsoring specific programs. Even if you can’t exhibit, a program sponsorship ensures your company’s visibility at this important professional conference. Keep September 26 in mind as that’s the deadline to ensure your information becomes part of all our marketing materials...

As an Advertiser, you can purchase a low-priced ad in the printed program which will put your company’s information in front of all conference attendees. This opportunity is also open to companies not exhibiting at this year’s event…although we’re not sure why you wouldn’t want to exhibit. Deadline for ads to be included in our marketing materials is September 26...

Additionally, consider making a Donation to the annual Wisconsin Library Foundation Silent Auction held in the Exhibit Hall on October 26-27. We’re not opposed to raffling off a sales rep, a piece of equipment, a book or whatever you think will catch an attendee’s eye! The Silent Auction is one of the major fundraising events for the Foundation. Donations to the auction will be accepted until September 30, 2016.

As you can see, there are many opportunities to position your company in front of members of the Wisconsin library community…many of whom are involved in all stages of acquisition—from researching, demonstrating, buying, introducing, applying and adopting a product or service. Be among those celebrating 125 years of Wisconsin libraries working for their communities.

If you have any questions or need additional information, please feel free to contact any member of the Exhibits Team.

We look forward to seeing you at the Potawatomi Hotel & Casino in Milwaukee and celebrating our 125th Anniversary with us.
